cause the kids sure are damn cute today! I spent the morning at my nieces school, watching the little ones parade around in their costumes. it was such a joy. oh to live like a child….i try to live in that illusory type world as much as possible. why be so serious just cause we must “grow” into adults? at 35, i am finally realizing that taking life too seriously just leads to disappointments and unanswered expectations.
with that said, laugh it up, love it up, and go out and have some fun.
children are such a joy. Ive always felt a bond with them…i can get on thier level. talk to them like little adults, which they appreciate. they are super smart, if you listen closely to them. and they are clean slates, mostly untainted, which is so refreshing. they make my heart go boom boom. love.
Taylor turned 8 years old last month! I truly can’t believe how fast the time goes. I love my taylor…she is such a little girly girl. I tried to turn her into a tom boy starting from a young age, buying her skateboards and low rider bicycles, and cool tough girl clothes, but it didn’t work! ha ha. she’s a natural born princess. and I’ve fallen in love with her.
Her 8th birthday was spent on the santa monica pier. oh what fun those kids had. here are a few pictures of her special day…clearly she is smitten with one particular young man 😉
